Estate Administration
We represent Executors and Administrators in the A to Z’s of estate administration, including probating Wills, Court Procedures, Locating Assets, Legal Notices, Estate Inventory, Non-probate Assets (e.g., Life Insurance, Annuities, Retirement Plans and joint tenancy accounts), Estate Tax Returns, and Final Gift Tax Returns.
Tax
We prepare Federal Estate Tax Returns (Form 706), Federal Gift Tax Returns (Form 709), including special Generation-Skipping Transfer Tax allocations, and, where appropriate, any State Estate Tax Returns. We also work with client’s accountants with regard to income tax matters, where appropriate.
Business & Nonprofit Entities
We advise regarding and create small business and non-profit entities as appropriate for our clients’ business and charitable needs, including Corporations, Partnerships, Limited Partnerships, Limited Liability Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies, Sole Proprietorships, Nonprofit Corporations (i.e., Public Charities and Private Foundations). We also advise on related tax issues.
